'I'm not special': Chelsea midfielder Jorginho insists he's just 'a normal player'

Chelsea midfielder Jorginho has insisted that he isn't special and stressed that he is just 'a normal player'.
Jorginho previously played under Maurizio Sarri at Napoli and the pair both joined Chelsea on the same day - July 14 - last summer.
The 27-year-old, who is central to Sarri's style of play, has received a considerable amount of criticism for his performances this season, and stated that he wants to show why he is so highly regarded by the Chelsea boss.

Chelsea midfielder Jorginho stressed that he isn't special and is just a normal player
Jorginho told The Sun: 'I'm not special. No, I'm a normal player. I don't want to be special, it's not good. It's perfect to be the same as everyone else. I don't want to be the special one.
'Even if they do think I am Sarri's man, I want to show why Sarri likes me.
'So I want to show them I am a good player and they are wrong to have that attitude towards me.

'I have a normal relationship with him, a relationship between two professionals. I don't go out for dinner with him, I don't go round to his house.'
While there have been many difficult moments for the £57.4million signing this season, Jorginho did have something to cheer last weekend when scored an excellent goal in Chelsea's 2-1 victory over Fulham.

Sarri's side have enjoyed something of a resurgence following the Carabao Cup final
Since the Carabao Cup final disappointment against Manchester City, which heaped the pressure on Sarri, Chelsea have enjoyed something of a resurgence.
The Blues have won their last three games in a row in all competitions, succeeding against Tottenham, Fulham and Dynamo Kiev.
Next up is a home game against Wolves on Sunday, with Jorginho and his team-mates aiming to do all they can to try and secure a top four finish in the Premier League.
Chelsea are currently in sixth place, two points adrift of Manchester United, who are in fourth, and one point behind Arsenal, who are fifth.
Crucially, however, Sarri's side have a game in hand on both United and Arsenal, as they look to finish the season strongly.
