BRUSSELS (Reuters) - The European Association's top financial matters and assessment official said on Wednesday the danger of a no-bargain Brexit on April 12 is expanding, as he clarified the alliance's emergency courses of action for traditions.

"The EU traditions code would apply to all products touching base from the UK," the EU's Financial Undertakings and Expense Chief Pierre Moscovici told a news gathering.

"In the event that there is a no-bargain situation, new traditions controls would need to be presented... That does not mean we would methodicallly check each and every... lorry... We would control merchandise based on hazard investigation."
